Zambia -- November 2009: Flatdogs Camp and South Luangwa National Game Park

The last day before leaving Zambia we visited a Game Park.
We arrived at Flatdogs Camp the evening before in
preparation for an early morning excursion into the park

We were excited, but we had no idea of what a
wonderful morning we were about to have!

After a breakfast of scones and tea in the dining room (above)
we were ready to go!

The Luangwa River separates Flatdogs Camp and
the South Luangwa National Park

Crossing the Luangwa as we entered the Park

We rode in open Toyota Land Cruisers

Baboons were watching us as we drove into the park

Zambia -- November 2009: Lundazi Castle

The Lundazi Castle was our home (hotel).

strong friendships with the employees.
Their welcome was very warm when we arrived!!!
